Immerse yourself in the history of Anlaby and its gardens while you stay in the Manor House.
If you would like to immerse yourself in the history of Anlaby and wander the gardens at your leisure you can stay in the Manor House. This is a two story building that was once the Manager’s and Accountant’s Offices, and has been converted into self contained Bed and Breakfast accommodation. There are three bedrooms upstairs, with a kitchen, bathroom and very comfortable sitting room downstairs.
As Anlaby is normally opened for tours for groups of ten or more – staying in the B & B provides you with unique and private access to these historic gardens.
Located in the precinct of Anlaby homestead, this cottage was built for the Head Gardener in the early 1900s. At this time, the Head Gardener was responsible for the 14 gardeners who lovingly tended the historic Anlaby garden.
The cottage has three beautifully appointed Queen bedrooms, two comfortable lounges, a modern bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. The building sits in its own beautiful cottage garden.
The property is approximately 13kms from Kapunda and it is about a 40-minute drive to both the Barossa and Clare Valley winery regions.
This is an ideal location for a quiet getaway while you take a “beautiful step back in time” surrounded by modern creature comforts.
The cottage is fitted with a fully ducted air conditioning system and free WIFI is provided.
Locally sourced breakfast provisions are supplied. Evening meals can be pre-booked.
You will have the entire cottage to yourself.
Full refund for cancellations up until 2.00 pm three days before booked check in date. Later cancellations will be minus the first nights’ accommodation and the service fee.
